I added this filter to a 3g round glass bowl for one of my bettas. It is working out very well. I like it’s low profile, which allows my betta extra room to swim around. It is paired with the little Upettools silent ultra silent air pump. The bubbles are breaking the surface perfectly and my betta is not bothered by it at all. I am someone who does partial water changes a couple of times through the week. However, once a week, during one of my partial changes, I also remove the sponge from the filter and rinse it with the bowl water and pop it back in its filter case. So far so good. Thank you.
