This water pump certainly takes much of those hassle out of water changes. It eliminates spilled and dripping water on my carpet and floors. The best thing is I don't need to shovel gravels out to clean the bottom of the tank. The built in feature of the vacuum can pick up all the wastes hiding in the gravels without going through removing and refill. Should have got this earlier. The fish enjoy clean water and this allows me to complete water changes so quickly when I see numbers I don't like. It does the job I need it to,very effective.
